Does the Celiac Disease Screening test diagnose you with celiac disease?

No, you can only be diagnosed with celiac disease by an upper endoscopy and biopsy. A positive celiac disease screening test indicates that you should follow up with a gastroenterologist for an endoscopy and biopsy. Please note that you will have to continue eating gluten - if you are currently gluten-free - for the biopsy to have accurate results.
